Promoting green and circular built environment: The key stakeholders' challenges, strategies, and responsibilities

Project Description:

The construction sector has embraced the promotion of sustainable concepts like green building (GB) and circular economy (CE) as a shared goal.

However, it is evident that most researchers have primarily focused on advancing sustainable technologies, giving relatively less attention to effective stakeholder management in projects. In particular, informational barriers related to stakeholders, such as information asymmetry or lack of market support, continue to impede the development of sustainable buildings.

Therefore, this project aims to provide effective decision-making models for key stakeholders—governments, practitioners, and clients—in green and circular projects. The project will demonstrate and construct these models using various methods, including data mining and discrete choice experiments.

This project can enable key stakeholders to make effective decisions and align their actions with the overall vision of sustainability.
